Our story & leadership

Pastor Tom
and Terry

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Pastor Tom and Terry began this ministry as a house church. As God grew the ministry, He led our church family to our present location more than five years ago.

Together, Tom and Terry are a wonderful team. Their love for the Lord and His people shines through their service and care for others.

From a house church to a growing church family—God has been faithful every step of the way.
Faithful hearts. Willing hands.

Our statement of faith

What We Believe

Come As You Are Community Church affirms the National Association of Evangelicals’ Statement of Faith. Below is a summary of its seven beliefs.

  1. The Bible. Scripture is God-inspired, uniquely infallible, and the authoritative expression of His Word.
  2. The Trinity. The one eternal God exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  3. Jesus Christ. Jesus is divine: born of a virgin, sinless, and a worker of miracles. His blood was shed in a sacrificial death that atones for us. He rose bodily, ascended to the Father’s right hand, and will personally return with glory and power.
  4. Salvation. Sinners need the new birth brought about by the Holy Spirit to be saved.
  5. The Holy Spirit. The Spirit lives within Christians and empowers them to live in godliness.
  6. Resurrection. Everyone will rise again: the saved to life, and the lost to condemnation.
  7. Christian unity. Those who belong to Jesus share a spiritual oneness in Him.
